The Artifacts Bank is located at 707 N. 5th Street in the Centre Park Historic District Headquarters building. Here you’ll find rows upon rows of salvaged, donated and consigned items from building demolitions, restorations and rehab projects for sale to the public for the purpose of encouraging and enabling the adaptable re-use of rescued architectural building materials. The Artifacts Bank is run by and proceeds benefit the Centre Park Historic District.
What You’ll Find
If it comes from an older building, it probably has been or will be in our inventory. Our stock changes constantly with items in a variety of architectural styles. You can generally find: doors, doorknobs, mantels, stained glass, hardware, bathroom fixtures and lighting. We have stairways, newel posts, transoms, molding, porch posts and spindles. There are columns, brackets, corbels, finials, bathtubs and even the kitchen sink!
Building materials or fixtures that can be recycled may be donated to the Artifacts Bank. Donations may be used as a tax deduction since the Bank is a non-profit. For tax purposes, we acknowledge each donation, and estimated sales price, on our letterhead. To arrange for pick-up or on-site removal, please call 610-375-7860.
Select items are accepted for consignment. Please call 610-375-7860 for more details regarding acceptable items as well as contract terms.
